IELTS

IELTS stands for the International English Language Testing System. It is a widely recognized standardized test designed to assess the language proficiency of individuals who want to study or work in environments where English is the primary language of communication. The test measures candidates’ abilities in four key areas: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

There are two main versions of the IELTS test:

1. IELTS Academic: This version is typically for individuals applying for higher education or professional registration in an English-speaking environment.

2. IELTS General Training: This version is usually for those who plan to migrate to an English-speaking country for work, training programs, or secondary education.

IELTS scores are reported on a scale from 0 to 9 for each part of the test, as well as an overall band score. Different organizations and institutions set their own minimum score requirements for admission or employment purposes.
